Design Consultation for Period Homes
Do you need help deciding on how to paint the walls, cornice and skirtings of your period home? Perhaps you don't know how to keep the history of the house alive within a new design scheme without creating a museum? Maybe you're unsure of whether or not you should replace the missing dado rail, or you’re simply feeling overwhelmed by all the decisions to be made.
The architectural details and charming quirks of period properties, listed or unlisted, make them unique, and it can sometimes feel overwhelming to make design decisions. With a degree in Heritage Interior Design and a passion for historic interiors, with this one-off consultation, Louise can give you some friendly professional advice on your heritage interior project and give you the confidence to make those difficult decisions.
How does it work?
Phone or e-mail the studio to discuss your period home dilemma(s) and we'll ask some questions about your home and brief details will be taken. Should you then wish to proceed, an e-mail will be sent confirming arrangements for a consultation in your home or virtually at a mutually convenient time.
We will also ask you to provide some background information and images to help with research before our consultation.
The Design Consultation can also be tailored as an online service for those not within a 40 mile radius of the studio. The only difference will be that we arrange to have a virtual consultation via Zoom. We will ask you to answer some questions and submit visual information, for example photos and videos.
