 Fabric     Consultation

fabric consult Louise.jpeg

Using fabrics to introduce colour and pattern is a great way of adding character to a room while soft furnishings can help turn your house into a home. The Fabric Consultation will be useful if you are struggling to find the right fabrics to work within your existing scheme or if you're planning new window treatments or upholstery and you're not sure what to put together.

Louise will spend time with you to find the perfect fabric for a pair of curtains or blind to work within your existing colour scheme or choose fabric for that special chair that needs upholstering.

It's an easy and affordable way to solve your fabric dilemmas or to put together a new scheme with curtains, upholstery and other soft furnishings.

Do you need help deciding on how to paint the walls, cornice and skirtings of your period home? Perhaps you don't know how to keep the history of the house alive within a new design scheme without creating a museum? Maybe you're unsure of whether or not you should replace the missing dado rail, or you’re simply feeling overwhelmed by all the decisions to be made.

By visiting you in your home, Louise will will be able to fully understand your design queries

Perhaps you’re stuck on colour choices, can't decide on what to do with the too big living room, or maybe you're just afraid of making expensive mistakes.

How does it work?

Get in Touch

Phone or e-mail the studio to discuss your fabric dilemma(s) and we'll ask some questions on your project and brief details will be taken. Should you then wish to proceed, an e-mail will be sent confirming arrangements for a consultation in your home at a mutually convenient time.

Louise will visit you in your home for up to two hours with a selection of fabric samples to give advice on how to use different patterns and colours together or simply helping you with your own ideas for soft furnishings.

During our time together we'll get to solve your fabric dilemmas, provide you with valuable professional advice and give you the design direction you need to fulfil the potential of your home.

Sample Box

Following the consultation, a curated sample box containing the fabric samples will be posted to you. A shopping list will also be included.

Remote Consultation

The Fabric Consultation can also be tailored as an online service. The only difference will be that we arrange to have a virtual consultation via Zoom. We will ask you to answer some questions and submit visual information, for example photos and videos. Once we have received all the relevant information, we will start working on sourcing suitable fabrics for you and as before, you will receive a sample box in the post.
