Louise Booyens Interiors is a Norfolk-based interior design studio with a long-standing focus on period properties. I originally set up the business to help homeowners bring character, warmth and thoughtful design to their historic homes.

With a degree in Heritage Interior Design and a deep love of old buildings, I’ve always believed that a period house should retain its history while becoming a place that feels comfortable, welcoming, and well-lived in.

Having worked on numerous period cottages, listed country houses, terraced houses and village rectories, I now focus on period home consultations and bespoke design guidance for discerning homeowners restoring historic properties. I advise on layout, architectural details, materials and decoration, helping clients make thoughtful, lasting decisions that honour the character of their houses while supporting modern life.

I also undertake a small number of full interior design projects each year. These are accepted on a case-by-case basis, allowing me to devote the necessary time and attention to each one.
