Design Consultation with Louise

" Louise came to help me with decorating the extension we have recently built. I had already looked into furniture and fabrics but wasn't sure if they would look right in the room. Louise really helped me with this and listened to what I wanted to achieve, tweaking my ideas so that the area isn't too matchy-matchy (which I knew I couldn't do on my own)" Isobel
Whether you're excited to start a new interior design project or you just need some friendly professional advice on your interior project, this design consultation might be just what you've been looking for. We understand that it might not be a full design service that you need, but only a helping hand and a little advice.
Do you need help deciding on how to paint the walls, cornice and skirtings of your period home? Perhaps you don't know how to keep the history of the house alive within a new design scheme without creating a museum? Maybe you're unsure of whether or not you should replace the missing dado rail, or you’re simply feeling overwhelmed by all the decisions to be made.
"I would thoroughly recommend Louise to anyone wishing to decorate their home. I was feeling nervous and lost with the project after making a few mistakes in the past, but Louise helped me to clarify my thoughts & tastes and enabled me to achieve exactly what I was hoping for. She has excellent knowledge and resources and has opened me up to lots of other sources for fabrics and paints etc. Most of all, she has been a pleasure to work with, always replying promptly and helpfully. Thank you, Louise." KN

"The main reason for your consultation was to illustrate how to best utilise our space and fit the things we wanted. And we feel you've done a fantastic job at that, whilst also providing relevant visual aids that match our style preferences. We certainly have a much better idea of what we want and how we want to do it." J & B
This in-person consultation can be customised to suit your needs and a 2 hour meeting is normally enough time to cover one room in detail or, just briefly discussing issues in separate spaces around the house. Before our meeting, I will ask you for some background information and images to help me understand what you need. You could create a Pinterest board to share with me or send me your favourite interior Instagram accounts. Floorplans, either estate agent's plans or just a rough sketch will be very helpful - this will give me an idea of the space. Providing me with this information prior to the consultation will help us to use our time together more productively.
Following the consultation, you will receive a summary containing all the points covered during our session. This digital report will contain ideas and further suggestions all in one place for you to refer back to. Any paint or fabric samples will be sent by post.
This in-person consultation is offered to clients within 40 miles from the studio. This design consultation could also be tailored as a remote consultation - for those further afield, please get in touch so that we can discuss how best to work with you.
"Louise provided us with excellent advice through her consultation service for our Grade II listed cottage. Her thorough service included a variety of fabric options and furniture placements." Karen
